MEGADETH Guitarist Is Hoping The New Album Will 'Stand The Test Of Time'
September 14, 2009MEGADETH guitarist Chris Broderick has issued the following update:
"I know there are quite a few of you that have already heard [the new MEGADETH album] 'Endgame', but I am excited for the full release and to see what everyone will say about it. I am hoping that it [will] stand the test of time and be one of those CDs that people can listen to years from now and still appreciate (it seems a lot of music today comes and goes). I have also been working on a number of songs from the back catalog that I have never performed live, so that we can put them in the setlist at will. I think that it will make each individual performance more exciting."
According to WZOR Razor 94.7, the rock radio station serving Green Bay, Appleton, and the surrounding communities in the Fox Valley and Northeast Wisconsin, MEGADETH and MACHINE HEAD will perform at The Rave in Milwaukee on Wednesday, November 11 as part of the "Endgame Tour". MEGADETH and MACHINE HEAD — along with SLAYER — are also rumored to be planning a Canadian East Coast run in November. It should be noted, however, that none of these tours have been officially confirmed by anyone associated with the aforementioned acts.
MEGADETH's new album, "Endgame", is now being streamed in its entirety on the band's MySpace page.
Due on September 15 via Roadrunner Records, "Endgame" was recorded at the band's brand new, self-built studio in San Marcos, California — Vic's Garage — which was named after the legendary and iconic Vic Rattlehead character.
"Endgame" was helmed by MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine and British producer Andy Sneap (EXODUS, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY, MACHINE HEAD).
